Q.What follows a bad week of running?
A. A GREAT week of running!
Tuesday night I hit the track with my running partner for some awesome 800s. They were my best yet! Repeats: 3:08, 3:15, 3:09, 3:08, 3:09. I think I did so well with them because I kept looking at my watch. When I would hit the .30 in the split, I would tell myself “Come on Nicole, you can do this, it’s only .20 more!!” And then I would book it.
Kristina is awesome and took a bunch of pictures and a video of me killing it. I would show you all the video but I’m not tech savvy enough to know how to upload it…
After the track it was his and her compression time…
Randomness for your Wednesday:
One of my students came to class a few weeks back with toffee. I love toffee. He offered me some but I passed-but since then, I couldn’t stop thinking about it! Fast forward to two weekends ago:
I decided that for family fun day, I would pick up some toffee at the grocery store in the gourmet section. Only there was no toffee to be found! so my brilliant husband said these life changing words: “Why don’t we make some? he is just so smart.
This past Friday night, that’s what we did: we made toffee! It was really easy and I can tell you it’s just the best toffee ever! I’m envisioning an entrepreneurship with the millions of kinds of toffee I can make.
