A trip to the beach!

I’ve been absent the last few days because I was celebrating my best friends upcoming wedding eith her bachelorette party!! I Finally made it to the beach this summer! We ended up in Provincetown, MA. It was absolutely perfect. End of summer meant less people and more fun to be had for us!
We had the Best weekend and it was the most perfect way to celebrate our soon to be bride:)

This is she and I…(Wifey) Isn’t she so lovely?

This is Wifey and B Fab:

We walked SOOOO MUCH that we decided to take these little bike men up on their offer to bike us back to our car πŸ™‚

Ready to go out!!

Hanging out with the star of the show

And I don’t know how I pulled this off after a crazy night with All the Martinis And All The Pizza!!

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend, I’ll be back tomorrow
With a weekly mileage recap!

  1. I LOVE P-town! When I lived in Boston I went there a lot and my husband and I did our “mini-moon” the two nights after our wedding at the Carpe Diem B&B there. It’s just the best. So glad you had fun!

  2. Great way to spend the weekend Nicole. You ladies all looked amazing, you clean up super nice πŸ™‚ love the beach pics too!!

  3. I SO love P-Town! We finally got to really enjoy it with the boys two years ago, it was awesome! Looks like you had a great time – and the scenes from your run … jealous! I feel like I can smell the salt air just looking at the pictures! The first run makes sense … but that is definitely some major willpower pulling off the second one after what looks like a very long day! Glad you had a great time!

    • I haven’t been since I was a kid-it was a very long drive from my house but SO worth it. I can’t wait to go back (I’ve been secretly wondering if they have marathons in p town that I could schedule a trip there at the same time!!) the cape is really the best place! Runs along the coast=pure happiness.
I cannot believe run #2 either-it makes NO sense!!
I’m not sure where you’ve stayed before, but we roomed at the sandcastle resort-almost on truvo..we had to take a short cab into the city, BUT, we were right on the beach and our room had a kitchen-that’s a feature in a hotel that I really appreciate!

      • We have typically stayed in the Brewster or Yarmouth area – central cape that gives easy access to all areas and the beach as well. That goes back to being a kid and camping in Brewster in the early 70’s πŸ™‚ Our last visit in 2012 we were in Falmouth on a beach-front cottage … ahhhh.

I was lucky that when we were kids you could still romp around on the dunes in Truro before they were closed due to erosion.

As for races, I just know the mid-cape stuff like the Falmouth Half, and some others I can’t think of at the moment.

      • That’s a great idea to stay in the Yarmouth area-very smart, going to remember that for my next trip back!! I could live there! The dunes were so beautiful, I would have loved to have spent more time just looking at them. The rolling hills were so peaceful.
I’ve done the Hyannis half and full, great races but in the wintertime. I’d love a mid-summer half through the main areas of ptown along the coastline-that would be amazing!
