Guest posts&many thanks!

Well friends, we made it half way through the week… congrats to all of us! At this point of like to tell you that the weather here in mass is completely wacko-we had 80 on Monday and today …i wake up..and there is snow on the ground…WTH… I am actually shaking my head in disbelief:will this winter never end? I mean…it’s April 16!! Why?!?!?!?!!

Moving on… I wanted to thank all of you for yesterday:it was a very difficult day, but you helped me through:)

A few weeks ago, I was asked to write a guest post for ProForm. (In case you don’t know they make the Boston Marathon treadmill and it is BAD ASS) They held off on publishing it to their blog until yesterday, but I wanted to share it with you on my own forum too. They asked several runners to write something around the sentence “Will Run For____________”my own fill in the blank is “Marathon Monday.” You can read about it here.

I was also asked to do a quick quote for “The Active Times”. 10 runners shared what running Boston means to them: among the runners quoted is also my hero, Dave McGillivray.

Two very cool experiences that I wanted to share with everyone!

Happy Hump Dayyyyyy!!!!

  1. Very cool that you got to guest post! I can’t believe it’s only a few days until race day now. I was thinking yesterday about how hard the memory was hitting me and how hard it was to see the new events on the news last night and couldn’t even comprehend what it must feel like to those who were there that day. This year is going to be such an emotional experience for you all and I can’t wait to read all about it.

  2. You were in my thoughts yesterday. Love the guest post and your positive outlook on life and what happened. I cannot wait for you to cross that finish line Monday! (Yes, I will be stalking, uh I mean following you on race day) ๐Ÿ™‚

BTW, great work in your half last weekend! You rock! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. You’re inspiring for your courage and love. XOXO!!
I do agree with you that the weather is being a bit crazy. Today was freezing when I woke up, but yesterday…I ran in shorts and sweat a ton!
Have the best day!! You’re so strong and beautiful!!

  4. It’s hard to put into words, but after reading yesterday’s post and this one, I am so inspired by you and other runners who are returning to Boston this year to cross the finish line. I hope it brings you some closure and I look forward to your story after the race.
