-1 small white onion, or half a large one, chopped.
-fresh spinach (5 oz)
-2 cloves garlic, cut very small
-4 garlic chicken sausage links (12 oz package), diced
-1 48oz can chicken broth
-1 10 oz package of fresh tortellini
-salt and pepper
Cut sausages into really small pieces. I slice them into fours, and then dice them.
Add sausage/onion/garlic mix. Because I use chicken sausage-they don’t get as greasy when they cook, so I actually don’t drain the mixture. If yours are greasy, though, I recommend you drain mix before tossing in with broth.
Let the flavors cook covered for about 30 minutes.
